In this series, I reimagine the beauty of sunrise through Adobe Lightroom. By adjusting presets, saturation, and exposure, and using masking and erasing techniques, I enhanced the vibrancy and emotional impact of these moments. The increased saturation and vivid colors blur the lines between dawn and dusk, merging the optimism of sunrise with the tranquility of sunset, and inviting viewers to experience these scenes with renewed joy and depth.

We explored three lighting techniques—top lighting, under lighting, and split lighting—in our portraiture work. Top lighting created an ethereal halo effect, while under lighting introduced dramatic shadows, evoking mystery. Split lighting illuminated one side of the model’s face, highlighting the duality of human nature. Through these methods, we discovered how light profoundly shapes identity and emotional expression.
