Monochromatic Landscape

The original photo I used was of a beach with rocks and palm trees, which I found rather than took myself. I chose an orange hue for the piece because I felt it brought warmth and complemented the natural setting best, giving it a glowing, sunset-like atmosphere. I created the artwork in Photoshop using painting tools and experimented with texture brushes to make the image feel more realistic and dynamic. Through this process, I learned that there are many different brushes available that can drastically change the look and feel of digital art. I hope viewers notice the variety of orange tones and tints I used, and how they work together to create depth and emotion in the piece.
