Photo Composite #1

In this artwork, I combined images of the principals of Salinas High School and North Salinas High School with a dragon to create a fantastical scene. Using Photoshop, I placed Dr. White’s face onto the figure riding the dragon, making it appear as though she is soaring through the sky. I utilized the Select and Mask tools to integrate the dragon and its flames, ensuring a seamless blend with the other elements. By working with multiple layers, I maintained control over each section, while AI helped me craft a vibrant sky and the end of the bleachers. This project was both enjoyable and educational, allowing me to refine my Photoshop skills and explore techniques for layering and object manipulation. I am proud of the final piece, which successfully merges reality with fantasy, capturing a sense of adventure and leadership.
Photo Composition #2

In my latest work, I blend the enchanting realm of fairy villages with the joyful companionship of my dogs. Using Adobe Photoshop, I combined photographs of my dogs with a whimsical fairy village backdrop, creating a scene that invites viewers to explore the magic of imagination. The technique of masking was pivotal, allowing me to seamlessly integrate my dogs into this enchanting world. By isolating them, I positioned them as if they truly belonged to the fairy landscape, and I added delicate wings to transform them into "fairy dogs," emphasizing the playful spirit of the piece. This project has been both a creative journey and a learning experience, as mastering the masking technique has opened new avenues for my artistic expression. I’m thrilled with how the final image captures cuteness and charm, and I hope it evokes a sense of wonder and brings a smile to your face, just as it did for me during its creation.

Red Line Movie Poster
.png)
The concept for the movie was to make a action movie about car racing. The movie is fast paced and edgy. I created a logo for the movie company (Blk Box). I also created the design of the movie poster by using only the assets that were provided. I used masking to mask out the actors and used a gradient tool to make them fade into the background picture. I mainly focused on the blending elements so the car, actors, and background can blend in cohesively to give the idea of the movie in one poster. Something that went well during the design process is everything, I think that everything goes together. The letters give the effect of an edgy/ action racing style. I am most proud of the blending of the whole poster. Challenges I faced was trying to fit everything into the poster, the final design could be improved if I used more of the assets given.
Magazine Cover

I chose the singer SZA as my role model because I like her music and the way she puts words together. She has a different way of singing that I enjoy. Something about her quote that stood out to me was when she said every struggle is a lesson. I think that this quote is amazing because your struggles don't have to define your life and who you are as a person, instead of being negative about your struggle, use it as a lesson and learn from it. I wanted it to look like it would actually be on a magazine. So I chose to use green as the background because I thought that the color looked good and contrasted with her skin color. I used a darker green for the article names and the title. I made the page numbers the color of her skin to make it pop and even everything out. I really wanted my audience noticed the different color page numbers, some took inspiration and did the same thing as me by changing the page number colors as well.
